Welcome to ProteinGoal, also known on the App Store as Panda Protein Goal Tracker.

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the ProteinGoal iOS application (Panda Protein Goal Tracker).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

ProteinGoal is designed to minimize data collection. You may provide:

• Protein intake logs and food entries
• Custom foods and favorites
• Daily goals, weight, and preferences
• An Apple user identifier if you choose Sign in with Apple

Data is stored locally on your device. When iCloud is available, it may also sync to your private iCloud account for backup across devices.

1.2 Sign in with Apple

If you sign in with Apple, we store an opaque Apple user identifier so your logs, streaks, and favorites can be associated with your account. We do not require your email or name to use the app. Apple may provide a private relay email if you choose to share contact details with us — we use that only for support if needed.

1.3 Non-personal information

We may collect anonymized usage statistics, device type and OS version, and crash or performance data to improve the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Track protein intake and progress
• Display statistics, streaks, and trends
• Sync data via iCloud when available
• Link purchases and entitlements via RevenueCat when you subscribe
• Send optional local notifications you enable
• Improve performance and fix bugs

Your data is never sold or shared for advertising purposes.

3. Data Protection

3.1 Security

• Local storage uses Apple technologies (SwiftData).
• iCloud / CloudKit sync uses your private Apple iCloud account.
• Apple Sign In credentials are handled by Apple; we store only the opaque user ID needed for account association.

3.2 Retention

• We retain data only while you use the app.
• Deleting the app removes local data. iCloud copies remain in your Apple account until you delete them there.

4. Sharing Your Information

Panda Protein Goal Tracker (ProteinGoal) does not share personal data with third parties for marketing. Premium purchases are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. No payment card details are stored by us.

5. Your Rights

• Access and update: View and edit your data in the app.
• Notifications: Disable anytime in Settings.
• Deletion: Delete the app or clear data on device; manage iCloud data in your Apple ID settings.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
